John Winchester is dead, John Winchester is dead.
The choirs in heaven fall to their knees,
Birds sit silent in the trees.
John Winchester is dead.

John Winchester is dead, John Winchester is dead.
His body is ash upon the pyre
Tears like rain to drown the fire,
The journey done, now rest eternal,
The last page written in the journal.
John Winchester is dead.

John Winchester is dead, John Winchester is dead.
Grievous wrongs go uncorrected,
The weak and helpless unprotected,
The sword has fallen from his hand,
Evil creatures roam the land,
Darkest night is darker yet.
And good folk will not soon forget
John Winchester is dead.

John Winchester is dead, John Winchester is dead.
The Devil's cheer rang though his hall
But wailing ministers in did crawl
Oh, woe, oh shame, our ill-wrought fate!
A long, black car crashed through our Gate!
To knife and scythe Hell's creatures fall!
Two voices that cursed name do call.
Two vengeful sons a raging storm,
Their final duty to perform:
Make Hell regret it can be said
John Winchester is dead!
